FriYAY Five!

It’s FriYAY and that makes me so happy! You know what else makes me happy? This picture above of Char, Em and me on Emily’s wedding day! I also love sharing my Friday Fives and it’s been a little while since I’ve had time. So here we go…

one. FREE THINGS!

I wanted to tell everyone about a new start up company that I recently started working with called Trybe. Trybe was founded in Norway and has a large community of testers in Europe and Latin America and has recently launched in the United States! Their purpose is to connect consumers with brands giving testers the opportunity to share their honest options about the products they test.

Now this is where you come in! As bloggers, we love to test products and give our opinion! Signing up to be a tester is free and easy. Click this link, sign up and fill in your details, answer a few questions and that’s it! As products become available to test, they’ll show up in your “Products” tab for you to apply for. Like I said, free and easy.

Since Trybe is new in North America, they’re looking for bloggers to connect with as well. Becoming a Trybe blogger has some additional perks. You’re more likely to get the different products available to the US, and they can guarantee that a certain number of your readers that sign up will also get to test the products! I’d love to answer any questions y’all have. If you’re interested in becoming a blogger, leave your e-mail in the comments below!

two. professional photos and sneak peeks!

I kind of love having professionals take my picture. I know not everyone does, but I just love pictures! We’ve had LOTS of professional pictures lately! Emily’s friend Loryn from Loryn Brandt Photography took some amazing pictures of the girls getting ready at the Marriott before the wedding. Jennifer and Sydney from Meeker Pictures shot all of the amazing wedding and reception photos. And last Friday morning Marci from Three Peas Photography took Chloe’s one year pictures! I don’t have those yet and probably won’t share them until her birthday, but I know they’re going to be super special!

three. lazy, not so crazy weekends

After the wild and craziness that was the past two months, I’m looking forward to some relaxing, less hectic weekends in my future. We have a wedding this weekend, but attending a wedding as a guest is super fun and no stress at all! The next two weekends are currently free and then it’s Chloe’s birthday! I’m definitely going to spend some of this down time by/in the pool with these hot July summer days ahead.

four. swim lessons

Chloe started swim lessons a few weeks ago and I’m so glad that we did! She’s learning so fast and yesterday she floated by herself for a few seconds. Oh man was I a proud momma. She’s slowly getting better about being on her back in the water. I think after a few more lessons she’ll really have the hang of it. She still has stranger danger when the instructor takes her for her individual work, but last night there was less screaming then the previous lessons. I’ll take that as progress! She still loves being in the water whenever she can, so we’ll just keep it up!

five. fourth of july sales

I’m a sucker for a good sale. Buying things for less than full price is a total win for me! So of course, there are TONS of 4th of July sales going on, but here are a few that have caught my eye.

Babies R Us: Red, White and Blue Sale. Tons of things on sale plus you can get a 15% off one item coupon to use on the 4th!

Hattan Home: 25% off orders of $100+

Francesca’s: 25% off dresses!

Gap: The Great Gap Sale, up to 50% off online and in stores

Old Navy: Entire store is on sale up to 60% off!

LOFT: 50% off EVERYTHING!!!

Express: Red, White and Fun sale. 50% off shorts, tees & more. 40% off swim.

H&M: $4 deals!

Anthropologie: Extra 30% off sale items

Groopdealz: 15% off your purchase

Those are just a few. I know there are TONS more out there, but these are apparently the places I shop the most lately!

Now go off and enjoy your FriYAY! And more importantly, your long weekend and 4th of July!!!
