4th of July Shenanigans

It’s Monday! Yayyyy! Just kidding, but I’m trying to have that attitude nonetheless. I’ve already been up for 4 hours and it’s only 8:30am. Personal training at 5:15 followed by teaching an hour long boot camp class, so I’m ready to go! Ask me how I’m doing at 2:30 though 🙂 I’ll probably be moving slow by then!

So enough about Monday, let’s talk about how fantastic long weekends are instead! I kind of love having Thursday off! I enjoy having a break mid-week. So here’s what happened on the 4th.

one. Chandra and I pre-Run Wild 5K race
two. Showing off my awesome Mizunos of course! Check out my post about them here!
three. My amazing hubs decided to run with us last minute 🙂
four. At my parents for the 4th. Jealous of my rockin’ headband?
five. Just a few of my favorite people. Chandra -me – Char – Em
six. The boys playing cornhole
seven. I love my Norwegian and she loves America
eight. Seesters
nine. So glad Michael and Chandra decided to embrace the Timmer family shenanigans.

What? No firework pictures? Yeah, I was lame and watched them on t.v. In my defense, I had to teach boot camp at 6am Friday morning. This girl needed sleep after being in the sun all day! After class, I worked and worked and worked…luckily from home! That afternoon, I went with the family to San Marcos to float Don’s Fish Camp followed by Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels on Saturday!

one. The girls! Yay for Kristin coming to join us!
two.  My awesome float. Yes it is in the shape of a wine bottle. Yes everyone was jealous.
three. We take a lot of pictures together. Seester love.
four. My ladies post float!
five. Margs with dinner at Texas Roadhouse!
six. Emmy and Benny! So happy my brother came home for the week and I miss him already!
seven. me- Char – Kristin headed to Schlitterbahn jammin’ to Backstreet Boys and N’Sync. No big.
eight. We love Schlitterbahn
nine. Me and the kids. They wanted me to eat the crackers and spray cheese so bad. Not. A. Chance.

What you’ve never heard of Schlitterbahn? Oh it’s only one of the most awesome water parks in the world. My family and the Billingsleys {our closest family friends} have been going every summer together since I was in 6th grade. We’re kind of obsessed. It’s so much fun and who doesn’t want to act like a kid again!

Now can we just have 4 day weekends every week? No. How about 3? I’d be okay with that 🙂 Hope y’all had a wonderful 4th of July weekend and that you were able to spend it just the way you wanted! I leave y’all with this…because I still feel like I had the coolest float on the river…and it was a tall as me!

How did y’all spend the 4th of July?
Did you have good weather and plenty of time outside?
