It’s safe to say that July snuck up on me this year! Can y’all believe that we’re already half way through the year? I mean, we’re now closer to this Christmas than we are to last Christmas and that makes my heart sing 🙂
Now it’s time to get updated on my 30 days of commitment challenge! Just remember that I switched June & July! Check out my other recaps here: April, May, June
Recap of June Goals:
My Goals:
- Try a different workout each day! It doesn’t have to be the whole workout, but part of it to spice things up a bit!
- Utilize the workouts posted on Pinterest and on blogs I love!
- Create and share a new workout each week.
- Get a gym membership {so I can workout inside} to beat the heat and utilize different equipment for all my workouts. This won’t happen until at least the 2nd week of June though
How I did:
- Overall, I feel like I really accomplished something. I didn’t overkill it and some days my workouts were a long walk with Miss Maggie, but it was longer than my usual walk and I put more into it. I feel like I truly went out of my way every day to get a little something extra in!

Overall:
I definitely give myself an A+ for June. Yes, the first several days of my workouts included walking around cities. But I took over 20,000 steps each day and I worked out 4 times at the gym on my vacation…sounds pretty stellar to me. I look forward to continuing with this through marathon training season! More long walks with the pup on my off days to come!
Here’s how I plan to be successful in July:
- Eat gluten free! A cheat here and there is okay.
- Take at least 2 recipes with gluten and turn them into gluten free recipes! I’ll share them on the blog!
- Try at least 2 new GF recipes and recap how they turned out!
- Follow me on my Going Gluten Free Pinterest board!
I’m looking forward to this month’s challenge! With Charlotte here, it’ll be easier to eat GF because she has a gluten intolerance. I’m hoping this helps me lessen my dependence on bread a little 😉 but let’s be real, that probably won’t happen.
Happy July y’all!
Until next time…
