So before I start talking about some fun boxes I’ve received recently, I’d like to take a second to celebrate the new pope! Argentina’s Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio, the archbishop of Buenos Aires became Pope Francis yesterday around 1:00pm central time. Here are a few facts about Pope Francis! He’s the first non-European Pope in the modern era. He is a trained chemist. He has spent 50 years of his life with only one functioning lung. He speaks fluent Italian, Spanish and German. He is a wonderful man with a big heart and I’m excited to call him our new pope! Viva il Papa!

All in all it was a great box for me to receive! Here’s what I think about the products…
- Olay Fresh Effects: To be honest, I’m kind of a no fuss girl when it comes to face wash. I’ve never been a huge fan of cleansing systems or hand held machines to clean my face. Not to brag, but I’m kind of lucky in the facial skin department because I’ve never really dealt with acne issues. That being said, I liked the product, but I didn’t love it. It dried my skin out slightly so I think it would work wonders on someone with more oily skin.
- Secret Clinical Strength: Oh my goodness, I’m obsessed. Seriously y’all this stuff is amazing and it works. It is their Stress Response Deodorant and it lives up to the name. I stay dry and fresh all day. No lies. Also, as a runner, I need something stronger because when I run, I sweat. A lot. It’s kind of gross. Don’t get me wrong, I still sweat when working out, but I don’t notice that nasty body odor smell that I experience after a long run! TMI? Oh well 🙂
- Texturizing Sea Salt Spray: Another one in the love column for me. I sprayed it on my hair after towel drying before blow drying, and it gave my hair that extra umph which is great for my short hair! I also tried it out on dry hair {it says you can use it that way as well} in the morning before straightening and I’ve also noticed the extra volume it gives my hair at the roots! I’ve tried a few other types of sea salt sprays and this one is my favorite by far.
- Skinny Girl On-the-Go Bar: Hello yum. These are tasty! I had mine for breakfast with my morning coffee and it was like eating dessert. Since I have the worst sweet tooth in the world that was a plus! It was just the right amount of sweet though, nothing over powering. I had the coconut with peanut butter. Yes please. I’ll be buying more of these in different flavors for sure. Perfect breakfast or afternoon snack!
