I have a problem…

Alright friends, the first step to solving a problem is admitting you have one right? I’m not convinced I want to solve this problem, but it wouldn’t be a bad thing. I have a confession. I love online shopping. It’s awesome. There are so many great deals online and I get excited! Then I buy things. Awesome things too. Did I mention how easy it is to buy these awesome things? I mean, it’s just a few clicks typing in your shipping/billing information {if you’re a regular, you can skip this step all together!}

Sometimes I’m reasonable and put items in my shopping cart and then I decide that my hubby and bank account do not think that I need that dress, new underwear and shirt from Victoria’s Secret or some other store where I think I need to own everything they came out with.

So aside from the ease factor, there are several other reason that I find online shopping so enjoyable. Let’s discuss, shall we?

You don’t have to try things on. I love having to try on 5 different sizes for a dress that I’m not even going to buy, said no one ever. I hate going to a store, thinking I love something, try it on and then decide that I need to lose 5 pounds and don’t get a single thing. When shopping online, you can try it on once it gets to your house. Try it on in the comfort of your own home without anyone saying, “Oh! Let me see how it looks!” Then decide if you’re going to send it back, keep it or give it to someone who you know it will fit. So much better right?

You know you feel like this in the dressing room some days!

Free shipping. Who doesn’t love free? It’s amazing how that four letter word can really get ya! I mean, forget the fact that going into the store and leaving with your item is like free shipping; however, that take effort…and generally requires getting out of your PJs. The best part about free shipping is that it generally has some sort of stipulation like “free shipping on orders over $50″ {see below}. So you have $45 in your cart, shipping costs $7.95; clearly, you need to go find something else that you must have in order to get the free shipping.

Coupon Codes. Save 10%. $20 off your $75 purchase. Hello you can’t use coupon codes in the store {unless it’s in your e-mail of course}! Usually it’s some sort of awesome online only deal. I’m a big fan on the $xx off of your $xx purchase. Seeing as though my brain is quite analytical, I love numbers. If I can get $75 worth of merchandise and only spend $50, that’s a win in my book. Who cares that I really only went to the site for a $25 shirt that I had to have. Now I have that shirt, a new belt and another top. Hello, winning!

So there you have it. Online shopping is obviously awesome and I clearly don’t have a problem even though my front door may have all of this waiting for me 🙂

Okay not really. I am definitely exaggerating a bit. But I really do love online shopping. Especially with amazing sites like Etsy, GroopDealz and other such fun sites with items you can’t get in stores!

So let’s recap. Online shopping is awesome because:

  • It’s only a click away
  • No dressing rooms
  • Free shipping
  • Coupons! Coupons! Coupons!
Now that that’s settled, you’re already on the internet, so let’s get to shopping! Happy Tuesday y’all!

Until next time…
With love and God bless,

Sharing is caring!
