20 Week Bumpdate {Halfway there!}

Woah, we’re halfway there! Woah-O, livin’ on a prayer. Take my hand, we’ll make it I swear. Woah, livin’ on a prayer! It’s hard to believe that we’re already halfway through this pregnancy. It has been flying by so much faster than my first. We’re definitely busy, plus chasing around and keeping up with a 2 1/2 year old’s schedule keeps me on my toes. Now let’s get to the fun stuff…all the nosey questions that everyone loves getting the answers to!

How Far Along?
20 weeks yesterday!
It’s hard to believe that we’re already halfway to meeting our little man.
Size of Baby:
A banana!
About 6 inches from crown to rump or 10 head to toe
Since we had our ultrasound, we know that he is currently weighing 12 oz in the 66%
Weight Gain:
About 9-10lbs, I definitely indulged over Easter!
Maternity Clothes:
Still rocking my maternity shorts! I tried on maternity jeans for our Europe trip, but can’t find any that feel good and are long enough for me. Luckily my friend just gave birth to her precious twins and let me borrow all of her cold weather maternity gear!
Stretch marks:
none
Symptoms:
The Hunger Is Real. I’m still so hungry!
Congestion, exhausted in the evenings, peeing a lot, some insomnia
Cravings:
Salty snacks, buffalo sauce on everything, tuna sandwiches, cereal with milk, apples with peanut butter or chocolate hummus. Pretty much the same as last time.
Gender:
It’s been confirmed again, a healthy Baby BOY!
And let me tell you, he was quite proud to show it.
Here’s a fun comparison of 20 weeks with Chloe on the left and 20 weeks with Baby Boy on the right! I feel like I’m much bigger this time around, but looking at the comparison, I’m actually quite similar.

Mood:
Happy and excited, but a little anxious
Nursery:
As before, the nursery is painted, but everything is just sitting in there right now. I’m waiting to work on it until we get back from our trip. Hopefully I’ll have something together in May!
Movement:
Yes! We have a mover on our hands. I have an anterior placenta which generally means you don’t feel the baby as early on, but that doesn’t appear to be the case for us! When we did the 20 week ultrasound yesterday, he was moving like crazy and I even felt some of the movements that I saw. Also, JP was able to actually feel him for the first time on Tuesday.
Sleep:
Hit or miss. I’m quite tired in the evenings and fall asleep easily, but tend to wake up early. When JP’s alarm clock goes off at 5:30, I’m usually already awake. I try to continue resting until at least 6:00am if I can.
Workouts:
Lots of walks, some runs and little workouts in between! Here’s what last week looked like:
Friday: 1 mile walk and the workout above! Only modified the sit up to press with no sit up.
{Here’s the original post in case you want more explanations!}
Saturday: 4.5 mile run! I felt great!
Sunday: 2 mile family walk
Monday: 45 minute spin class
45 minute HIIT Tabata class {I modified the jumping exercises}
Tuesday: 3 mile jog
Wednesday: 3.5 mile walk
Thursday: Rest
What I Miss:
Sleeping on my stomach and comfortably on my back!
Belly Button in or out?
Starting to flatten out, but still in.
Wedding rings on or off?
On
Labor Signs:
None and hopefully not for several more months!
Anything making you queasy or sick:
Raw chicken is about the only thing I really can’t stand these days.
Best Moments The Past Weeks:
Our 20 week ultrasound yesterday! It was amazing and baby boy is growing perfectly on track. Overall, he’s measuring about 2 days ahead. I wish I could share some pictures with y’all, but I couldn’t convert the files they gave me on my computer. I need Windows, so my brother in law is going to try it for me!
Looking forward to:
Our babymoon family adventure to Amsterdam and Disneyland Paris! We leave next week!

It’s hard to believe that we’ve passed the halfway mark, but it’s even more hard to believe that we’re heading to Europe in less than a week! I’ll be around on the blog next week. I finally have my last Disney post and my half marathon recap to share with y’all! No bumpdate next week, but I should be able to get one out at 22 weeks while in Amsterdam.

Just for fun, here’s my 20 week bumpdate with Chloe!
