How Far Along? 18 weeks
Size of Baby: Sweet potato! He/she is about 5 1/2 inches long and around 5-6 oz in weight
Weight Gain: Up about 5 1/5 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight
Maternity Clothes: Still no pregnancy specific clothes. I need to unbutton my jeans to stay comfortable, so I’m sure I’ll be busting out the belly band next time I wear them.
Stretch marks: Not yet and hopefully never!
Symptoms: Headaches, increased appetite,
Cravings: Peanut butter crackers, grapes, oranges, grilled cheese, and other random things depending on the day.
Gender: Tomorrow is the big day of our gender reveal!
Mood: Happy, but pooped! Our amazing Disney trip really took it out of me.
Nursery: No progress yet, but I think March will be the start of figuring out how to turn the guest room into a guest room and nursery all together!
Movement: Feeling little bitty movements every few days or so!
Sleep: Still waking up once or twice at night for potty breaks. Some nights I fall right back to sleep and others it can take an hour or longer. Luckily going, going, going like crazy at Disney has been helping me sleep really well this week.
Workouts: Thanks to my bum ankle, workouts are a bit harder :-/
Sunday: Walk 3 miles + walking bits of Epcot
Monday: Walking a little at Universal Studios (I was sick and in a wheelchair)
Tuesday: Walking Hollywood Studios (also in a wheelchair)
Wednesday: Rest
Thursday: Rest
Friday: Rest
Much needed rest post injury and vacation. Hoping to get started again next week!
What I Miss: Being able to run and that’s not even because of pregnancy!
Wedding rings on or off? On
Anything making you queasy or sick: Mornings. I feel a bit nauseous every morning, but it goes away after an hour or two. No food aversions though.
Best Moment This Week: Spending time with my girls at Disney World!
Labor Signs: No
Looking Forward To: Finding out if Baby G is a boy or girl TOMORROW!
I’m starting to show a little bit more. I can tell that my body is changing and those who know me well and see me often notice a different, but more often than not people say, “You don’t even look pregnant at all!” I guess I’ll take it as a compliment. They say that strong abs will keep you from showing early on, so yay abs! The bump is definitely bigger in the evening though. Thanks gas and food!
Now I’m ready for this weekend! Tomorrow is going to be so amazing and I can’t wait to find out who Baby G will be!
