So as y’all know, Friday was my sister’s birthday and my parents’ anniversary! We started celebrating on Thursday night with dinner at Dolce Vita followed by drinks at Anvil. Friday was her actual birthday, so after work, I high tailed it to Sugar Land to celebrate!

We had dinner at my parents followed by presents and cupcakes before we headed off to the new Palladium movie theatre! It was so big and so nice! Best part? There’s a bar. Wine makes going to the movies WAYYYY better. Plus we had an awesome bar tender who gave us free shots. #winning
Oh and about that puppy…isn’t she just the cutest thing?!? JP and I are looking to adopt a second dog {the one above has already been adopted…boo me, yay for her}. Miss Maggie wants a brother or a sister. She told me so 🙂
Saturday morning started with another run, but this time I wasn’t flyin’ solo. Chandra joined me for an almost 6 miler. Walking breaks were taken and we were so glad to be carrying water. It was HOT! The rest of the day was packed to the brim…

| one. At Top Golf! We met up with my family and the Waites! two. I’ve never been to Top Golf and not had a Mimosa. three. One mimosa is generally followed by multiple mimosas at Cyclone’s where the Crowsons joined us too! four. Watching Matt Lewis sing the National Anthem at the Skeeters game five. Like I said, a busy Saturday. Run…Top Golf…Mimosas and Mexican food at Cyclones…pit stop at my parents…Skeeters baseball game…Fireworks…Cake back at my parents…Home and in bed by 10:30pm…no big 🙂
Sunday was exhausting. We had a chill morning followed by lunch with the girls before taking Charlotte to the airport. This is the first time we were able to take her to the airport and not cry. It’s so weird that she’s going to be back in just a few weeks! 15 days to be exact.
Now it’s Monday once again and it’s raining in Houston. But that’s okay because it’s a fresh start to a new week. Hope it’s a good one y’all!
