If I wasn’t a grown up already, I’m getting a little bit closer now. I mean, I graduated from college, got my first big girl job, got married, moved across the country, started a blog, adopted a puppy and moved back and bought a house. Clearly I’m trying to be a grown up…most of the time. Not all the time of course, then life would be boring. However, yesterday brought about ANOTHER grown up like attempt. I did something big. And by I, I mean we – the hubs and I. Do you wanna know what it was??? Here’s my super excited face for my super grown up adventure:

Then there was more waiting and waiting and waiting. Then I had to give my John Hancock a bagillion times! All so I could be the proud new owner of this baby!
That’s right! If you hadn’t guessed it already, I bought a car. As in it is mine. Okay, again, we bought a car – with both of our money. I make money too ya know! However, this is my car. Me, my, mine, this girl – not his. Just to clarify. It’s all mine! And if you couldn’t tell I’m super excited. Here, let me strike another pose by my new car for you!
Excellent. Less blurry. I’m diggin’ it. So just to clarify, in case you didn’t know, this is a 2013 Mazda CX-5. I may pee my pants just sitting here thinking about it. Let me remind y’all they for the past 6 years, I have been driving around in a 2002 Ford Taurus SES. Don’t get me wrong, it was a top of the line Taurus in its day. However, it’s day is long gone and it’s still an old Taurus {the new ones are the shiz though!} Enough about the Tortoise {like the animal – that’s what I call her} and back to the Mazda {currently nameless…any suggestions?} She’s got quite a few bells and whistles I must say. I’m most excited about having Bluetooth, built in navigation and a touchscreen media center! Don’t worry, I’ll take more pictures later, but this is all I have for now since we didn’t get home until nearly 9:00pm last night – I told you there was a lot of waiting.
I will say that my new car loved her new bedroom!
It suits her well!
Okay that’s really about all that I have for now. It’s kind of sad though, I need something new to look forward to! First Vegas, then hair cut, then Gulf Shores and now a new car!?!? So much going on, y’all might start to think I’m boring soon. Now I need to go figure out something else to make me more exciting. I’m on it! Have a happy hump day y’all…we’re getting closer to the weekend!
