MMM: Workout of the Week #2

Is it really Monday already? I mean last week just flew by. Having Wednesday and Friday off really threw me for a loop. Oh well, back to the drawing board…

How did your workouts go last week? Anywhere you could improve?

Last Week’s Workouts
Monday: Dance Central (45 minutes)
Tuesday: Personal Training (1 hour) – Jacob’s Ladder, upper, lower and core
Wednesday: 2.3 miles interval training on treadmill (20 minutes) – upper body
Thursday: 3 mile walk with Andrea, hubs and the pup
Friday: Elliptical trainer (40 minutes)
Saturday: OFF
Sunday: Elliptical trainer (40 minutes) – lower body, some upper

I must say that last week was super successful of the workout front, but not so successful on the eating front! With the 4th of July and Andrea’s baby shower in one week, it’s safe to say I overindulged a bit! At least I was able to keep everything evened out. Now this week I’m back on track and ready to get my Vegas/Beach body ready because Vegas is in 17 days and Gulf Shores in 30 days!!!

Now it’s time for…

Lately, I’ve been trying to use more of the machines at the gym to increase my resistance training! What types of workouts have you been loving lately? Not loving anything right now? Try something new! Sometimes spicing up your workout a bit is all you need. Try out a group exercise class, yoga or a cardio machine you haven’t been on recently!
