Is this real life: Las Vegas

Sometimes I think that Las Vegas isn’t real life. It’s some sort of fantasy land where you can go and do whatever you want for a few days. Hopefully only a few days, I don’t think my body could handle more than 3 days of Vegas! The purpose of this trip was to celebrate one of my dear friend Courtney’s bachelorette party! Let me tell you…we lived it up! {Warning: This post is photo heavy. For your viewing pleasure.}

We stayed at the Cosmopolitan. So perfect for a girls weekend! We had an amazing 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom suit which fit the 11 of us perfectly. Here’s a view from the bathroom into one of the bedrooms! I would show you the rest of the suite…but…the decorations while fantastic, not appropriate for the blog 🙂 But take a look at the view!
The first 4 to arrive! Everyone else got in a little bit later. I’m so glad I decided to take Thursday off work and get in a little early!

After admiring and decorating our room it was time to hit the Strip before the other girls arrived!

Cabo Wabo

That night we went to Tryst at the Wynn

Followed by The Bank at the Bellagio

Somehow we all made it up for brunch at the Sugar Factory!

After brunch we spent the day at the pool! Night time consisted of dinner at VooDoo, then Chippendale’s show and we topped it off with going to Hyde at the Bellagio!

Saturday was a do what you want to kind of day, so Leah, Kathy and I went to Cabo Wabo for breakfast and wandered around until Kristen joined us! We decided to go gamble for a bit at Caesars Palace {in case you were wondering, Caesar really did live there}

After some more time at our hotels pool, we ended the night going to The Palms!

Sunday morning we were up bright and early to catch a 10:00am flight. That meant we were up at 7:15am. Tired doesn’t even begin to explain how I felt. Let’s just say, I had pizza for breakfast. Excellent decision.

Now for all of you wonder about my little incident mentioned here, I fell down the stairs on the first night. Yes, Thursday. Pathetic? Maybe. Awesome story? Absolutely. Pretty much my heel came off my foot midstep and I rolled my ankle on a step which sent me flying forward. Face first. Did I have a few drinks? Yes. Did I fall because of that? Maybe. I think it was the shoe. That’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it!

Rug burn down my shin, black and blue from my knee down and a swollen ankle. Like I said on Monday, Vegas: 2 – Amy: 0. Until next time Vegas…I’ll probably see you again next year!
One more thing: Courtney, Leah, Kathy, Kristin, Mary, Holly, Katie, Paige, Lauren and Jenn – I had an amazing time! Love you girls! Now time to continue recovering 🙂

Until next time…
With love and God bless,

Sharing is caring!
