A Very Hoppy Easter

What a wonderful weekend! Did it really have to end? The hubs and I spent every minute together and packed as much into our 3 days as possible. I have so much to catch y’all up on that I’m going to skip out on Motivation Monday, but I’ll update you with my workouts and goals, so you can stay on track too 🙂

Last Week’s Workouts
Monday: 1 mile warm up (8:30 pace); Suicide Workout!!!
Tuesday: 4.25 miles (8:56 pace)
Wednesday: OFF
Thursday: 3.1 miles (9:15 pace) with Maggie!
Friday: 1.5 mile walk with hubs and Maggie (15 min pace) & 1 hour at the driving range {I am so sore!}
Saturday: 3 miles (8:31 pace)
Sunday: OFF – laying out by/in the pool all day…check!

  • I conquered 11.35 of my 12 mile goal. If you include the speed walking the hubs and I did with the pup then I did more 🙂
  • Didn’t work out at the office gym, but still completed my 5 day workout goal!
  • With Easter, I completely FAILED at my one sweet a day rule. Really going to try and crack down this week!
Now for the weekend! Seeing as though we did so much and I have so many pictures to share, I’ll recap on our Easter Sunday and then tell you about the rest of our fun later this week!
Saturday night we dyed Easter eggs as a family. It’s always fun to have all of us together 🙂

Sunday morning, we were up and at ’em bright and early! We went to Easter mass at 9:15am and then headed back to the house for family photo sesh!

I look like a midget with my family. I’m 5’6″. Not short, but it seems that why with my sibs 🙂

Whole Family: Matt – JP – Moi – Mom – Dad – Emily – Ben
The next string of pictures is our attempt at getting Maggie to cooperate for a Gougler family photo!

After attempting to lure her with sticks and treats, I finally captured her! I must say, the final product turned out quite alright 🙂

This picture cracks me up and pretty much sums up our little family! It definitely makes my heart happy!

After pictures, the kids were off to get a breakfast of champions…Billy’s Donuts 🙂 I had a pink frosted donut with sprinkles and a sausage kolachi! While we were out, the Easter Bunny stopped by our house and hid some eggs. Yes we go on Easter egg hunts, no we are not too old for them. A lot of the eggs are filled with candy, but there are 5 Golden Eggs with $20, one egg with $10, a few with $5 and several with $1 or change. I made it out with too much candy and $28! I found a Golden Egg…yes…I feel like a champion. I am now $28 dollars richer than I was on Saturday. Success!

The rest of the day was spent lounging by or in the pool, cooking, watching the Masters and eating a super yummy meal prepared by Momma and me! It was an amazing Easter Sunday filled with God, family, sun and lots of fun! How was your Easter weekend? I hope it was blessed and full of love!

Until next time…
With love and God bless,

Sharing is caring!
