Happy Valentine’s Day my lovelies! I am still sick, sick, sick. Thank you so much for all of your sweet comments yesterday! I promise I’m trying to get better. I was a good girl this morning and went to the doctor and found out that I have an ear infection, sinus infection and mild bronchitis. Pretty much it blows. I’m about to take some meds that are going to knock me out for the rest of the day, but I wanted to share with y’all some pictures from my Valentine’s day date this weekend with my hubby (pre-sickness).
I don’t feel like typing much so I will just bombard you with pictures.
Faves from the zoo:
Entering the African Forest!
Giraffes are my favorite 🙂
A very regal looking Prairie Dog.
Jaguar on the prowl
Beautiful creature and he kept looking at me!
Posing by the turtles for me
Sun in our faces but it’s the only one of us!
Best story from the zoo: We were watching some sort of antelope family. One was laying in the corner, one was drinking water and the baby was running around from one to the other trying to get someone to play with it. A little boy beside me pointed at the one laying down and said, “That one must be the dad because he’s lazy. The other is the mom since she’s up doing all the work!” I about died laughing and decided I couldn’t agree more.
A few from our night out:
I pulled this dress out of the back of my closet from years ago! After walking around all day, heels were out of the question, so I went for comfy and wore my Steve Madden boots!
I was super proud of my hair! I did a waterfall braid and then curled it! What do you think?
Delicious spinach and feta flat bread pizza from Sonoma
Toasting the birthday girl!
Courtney and I – celebrating her 24th!
All the ladies! So much fun 🙂
The past few days have been pretty stinky, but these have made everything just a bit better!
Hopefully you are having a better Valentine’s Day than me! I’ll be at home, completely knocked out instead of at a dinner with friends over at the Crowson’s house. Total bummer. At least I know that I am loved unconditionally by my hubby, friends and family. That’s what Valentine’s day is all about anyway!
