Happy Friday to all! I kicked off my morning with a workout at the gym: elliptical, abs and push ups. I’ve decided that the way I feel after working out in the morning is totally worth the way I feel when my alarm clock goes off at 5:45am…or earlier. Sometimes you have to give a little to get a little! Today I’m going to steal an idea from my friend Lia Joy at Life is aMAYESing! A few weeks ago she did a ‘Me from A to Z’ post and I thought this would be a super fun Friday post for all of my reader to learn a little more about what makes me, me! Without further ado…

E. essential start to your day :: wash my face and brush my teeth! I have a ton of hair so I’m not much of a morning shower-er and I hate the taste of my mouth in the morning!

I. instruments you play :: i played the clarinet in middle school and I can play the piano {beginner skills :)}
J. job title :: Sales Operations and Knowledge Management Associate at Logica North America

O. overnight hospital stays :: i broke my arm at the end of 5th grade – my ulna came through my skin and my radius shattered. Since it happened at night and I needed surgery, I was there overnight. I also stayed overnight when I was two due to dizzy spells and seeing double of everything. It’s safe to say I don’t remember much of that!
P. pet peeve :: nail biters, liars and food smackers!

T. time you wake up :: 6:00 am on week days when I workout in the morning, 7:00 am otherwise. I am incapable of sleeping in

V. vegetables you dislike :: canned or frozen peas! gross! seriously, this is the only veggie I dislike
W. what makes you run late :: I am rarely late. I am completely OCD about time. I blame it on being the product of two military parents. I believe that on time is late, so I am always early to everything. No lies.
X. x-rays you’ve had :: several on my arm after my nasty break back in 5th grade, one on my toe when I dropped a glass jar of spaghetti sauce on it and nearly cut off my second toe in 10th grade, and several on my teeth of course!
Y. yummy food :: I love veggies, broccoli is my favorite food followed by peanut butter and chocolate ice cream. I’m also a big fan of Mexican food. I find myself craving it more now that I’m not in Texas! I truly love health food more than fatty food and for that I am thankful!
Z. zoo animal favorite :: elephants!

I’m looking forward to a weekend filled with running, being lazy and COLLEGE FOOTBALL!!! I think JP and I are also going to take a trip to the Pittsburgh Zoo! I am super pumped since the zoo is one of my favorite places. I LOVE animals. You have no idea how hard it was for me to decide on just one favorite animal! I hope everyone has a super, safe and fun three day weekend!
