Hyatt Lost Pines Resort and Spa Bachelorette Weekend

Two words. Bachelorette Weekend.

That pretty much sums up my weekend. Thank goodness I never have to be the bachelorette again because mine completely took it out of me. Luckily, this weekend I was the MOH {Maid of Honor}. I absolutely loved planning the weekend with the other MOH, Nicole’s cousin Katrina. I must say that we did a great job.

We spent the weekend in Bastrop/Austin, TX at the Hyatt Lost Pines Resort and Spa. It was a beautiful location that would have been even more fun and beautiful if it hadn’t rained all weekend! Oh well, we made the best of it…trust me.

Mine and Nicole’s bed and goody bags!

We arrived Friday evening just in time to unpack, drink a glass of champagne {or two} and go to dinner. We stayed at the resort for dinner and I had the yummiest {yes it’s a word} shrimp tacos. YUM. After dinner we all got cleaned up and our limo picked us up at 9:30pm to take us into Austin for a night on 6th Street!

With the Bride!

We will leave what happened on Friday night at that. It was a blast! We managed to get wristbands for free drinks and danced the night away. Lots of fun.

Saturday morning was not so fun for some girls. I was doing fantastic 🙂 After grabbing a coffee, a few of us wandered around the resort exploring all of the different activities, rooms, restaurants and so on. We were hoping to get a mani or pedi at the spa, but they were completely booked. I blame it on bad weather and Spring Break. We weren’t too upset though. The rest of the day was spent eating lunch at the resort, sipping some wine in the hot tub, relaxing and getting ready for dinner! We had dinner reservations at Jack Allen’s Kitchen and it was delicious. Amazing food.

We loaded up on appetizers: Guacamole – Queso – Pimento cheese – Caprese Salad

My dinner: Grilled Trout on a bed of cilantro lime rice and sauteed spinach

After a long dinner, we headed back to the resort for Nicole’s lingerie shower! We decided to make it a PJ shower, so we all put on our comfy clothes and gathered in one room for presents, cake and games!

Reading Katrina’s card – I thought this was such a great candid shot!

Those are all of the pictures that I’m going to share with the world. No need to share more. These are the best anyway! We had a wonderful weekend getaway and we managed to pack in a lot of fun despite the dreary, cold and rainy weather.

Happy bachelorette Nicole! I hope you had so much fun. This afternoon is Nicole’s bridal portraits session! I can’t wait 🙂

Until next time…
With love and God bless,
