Halloween Cookies & Cream Puppy Chow

A fun Halloween twist on a classic treat!

Ingredients
  

  • 10 cups rice Chex, divided
  • 1 cup vanilla candy melts
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 10 Halloween Oreos, crushed
  • 4 Halloween Oreos, crumbled

Instructions
 

  • Add 5 cups of Chex into large mixing bowl. Melt the vanilla candy melts in pot over stove stirring until smooth. Poor melted vanilla candy over the cereal and stir until coated. Be gentle when stir as to not break the cereal.
  • Pour the powdered sugar into gallon sized ziplock bag and add the vanilla coated cereal mixture. Zip bag closed and shake it up until all cereal is coated in sugar.
  • Add the other 5 cups of Chex into the mixing bowl and melt the chocolate chips over the stove. Again, stir until completely smooth and poor over cereal. Mix until cereal is fully coated.
  • Smash together Oreos in another gallon sized baggie until they are finely crushed. Add in chocolate cereal mixture and shake it up until the cereal is coated in Oreo bits.
  • Pour both batches onto a cookie sheet to let cool and dry. Add both batches together into one large bowl then mix in the larger crumbled Oreo pieces to give it a Halloween orange pop!
  • Store in an airtight container for up to a week! Be sure to share with your friends or you might eat it all!
