Sipping and Seeing!

Woah Memorial Day weekend…as always, you got me. I wasn’t as crazy busy as I could have been. In fact, each day I did something a little different and each was relaxing in its own way. No matter what, I’m tired this Tuesday morning and dragging a bit. Before I head to the gym, {yes I know it’s weird that I’m working on a Tuesday!} I wanted to share a little blip of my weekend that was very important to me, Chelsea and Margaret’s Sip and See!

What is a Sip and See you ask?

Take some wine, tea, water, your beverage of choice add a tiny baby to see, snuggle, hug and hold and there you have it a sip and see!

Seriously, it’s a chance to celebrate a new baby after they’ve been born instead of having a shower before! Margaret is Chelsea’s third baby. Most 3rd babies aren’t as celebrated as the 1st and 2nd, so Brandi and I wanted to make sure that Margaret had her celebration.

I mean, how can you not celebrate this adorable baby girl?

The party was a breeze. Brandi and I worked together to get some wonderful ladies together with food, drinks and love for this awesome family! I was in charge of cheese and crackers, deserts and wine!

I decided to make 3 ingredient peanut butter cookies {which are always a big hit!}, brownies with bits of chocolate chip cookies dropped in and two kinds of puppy chow, dark and white chocolate!

The brownies sound kind of fancy, but they were so easy! Take your favorite boxed brownie mix and half a log of chocolate chip cookie dough. Mix the brownies according to the box instructions and pour a thin layer in a greased glass pan. Cut up the cookie dough into one inch cubes and drop them on top of the brownie mix. Add as much or as little as you want! Pour the rest of the brownie mix on top and cook according to the directions on the box. You may need to add a few extra minutes, but I like them gooey!

Brandi did the invites fruit and veggie trays with dip, tea and decorations! Look at all of those colors!

The sip and see was a success. We were able to get several women together to just chat and enjoy each other! I met a few people that I hadn’t met before and made some new friends.

I also got to hang out with these pretty ladies! I still can’t believe that after all these years we were able to come back together and become friends again! And can we just talk about how both of them had babies last month and they look amazing?

I really feel like the sip and see was a success. It was simple and fun. We were able to bring people together to celebrate new life and enjoy each other!

We love you and your family so much Chelsea! Welcome to the world baby Margaret! You have such a beautiful and exciting life ahead of you!!!
