This Exciting Life We Live.

Every year I start off talking about how awesome this year is going to be. Some years end up awesome, while others are pretty rough. Then there are the years that have the highest highs and the lowest lows all at once. Last year was one of those for me. This year though, I’m pretty set on it being the highest of highs all year long. I know we’re only 46 days into 2016, but so far it’s been pretty exciting and I only see positivity ahead.

Speaking of exciting, exciting things really have been happening around here!

Thursday, I met up with two ladies that I went to middle & high school with and their beautiful baby girls. It’s been 10 years since I’ve seen them and it is like no time has passed. Of course we have kept in touch via Facebook/Instagram, so we had an idea of what was going on in each other’s lives. It’s reasons like this that I am so thankful for social media! If it wasn’t around, we wouldn’t have reconnected. I’m excited to have two mommy friends with baby girls just months older than Chloe! I am blessed to get to watch these girls grow up together.

Friday, I cut off all my hair. Okay, not all of it, but 14 inches. It was getting very long and the time had come. This is the 3rd time I’ve chopped it off and donated. I was able to cut 12 inches to donate to Pantene Beautiful Lengths! I know that someone else can benefit from my hair more than I can. I hope that soon it will help a woman feel beautiful!

Saturday, we hosted game night for our friends! We have game night about every other month and this month was at our home. Because I love a good theme, I decided to theme our gathering “Te Amo en Mexico.” Because why not? I wanted to make some delicious Mexican cuisine aka fajitas and sopapilla cheesecake and it was the day before Valentine’s Day, so why not combine the two? The night was a great success! There were 10 of us here and it was a bit of a tight squeeze in our townhome, but it was a blast!

Sunday was Valentine’s Day! I had to share some gorgeous shots I took of my tiniest Valentine! We spent the day relaxing around the house. I made pancakes for breakfast and JP cooked us mahi mahi and asparagus for dinner. I never left the house and it was pretty amazing.

Today is Monday. Yup. Monday. But I got to sleep in and hang out with my baby girl! Since my morning clients were all off for Presidents’ Day and our babysitting Auntie Annie has an eye infection, I got to stay home. JP will come home for lunch while I head up to the gym to teach my classes tough! I’ll still get my workout in!

This Thursday I’m going to be leaving my baby girl for the first time. I’m excited for the trip, nervous for leaving her and a little terrified all around. I know it will be good for both of us for different reasons. Last November I embarked on an exciting opportunity called Kyani! I haven’t talked about it much on the blog, but I’m ready to step out of my box and put myself out there! Kyani is a health supplement that helps your body at the cellular level. I started taking it shortly after having Chloe and I have seen first hand how it can help change your health for the best! After reaping the benefits, I decided to become a distributor because I believe in the products that much. I’ll share more about the company soon! This trip I’m taking is the Kyani International Leadership Conference in Orlando. I’m excited to meet the many people from my awesome team, Vision Group! I’ve interacted with them via phone and online, but finally we can connect face to face. I really hope this conference gives me the kick in the butt that I need to really put myself out there and make a difference in people’s lives!

There you have it, so many exciting things and many more to come! I hope everyone has a wonderful Presidents’ Day! Hopefully you have it off 🙂 Until next time y’all!
