Don’t pahk the cah in Hahvahd Yahd

Our final day in Boston was spent at Fenway Park and Cambridge! I’m going to just let the pictures do the talking…since I took so many and all 🙂

I love Mickey Mouse! Did you know that the Anaheim Angels gifted a baseball Mickey to each of the teams in the MLB. The Red Sox Mickey had a broken arm for the first few years, but they fixed it after having the most injuries two years in a row.

We’re VIP just hanging out in the press box! Check out our view below.

After exploring Fenway and hearing about all of its history, we were in a cab and off to Cambridge for lunch and a tour of Harvard! We had lunch as the cutest cafe in Cambridge called Upstairs on the Square. It was glorious out, so we sipped sangria on the patio, but we got a peek inside at the hot pink, purple and leopard decor!

Yes, that is leopard carpet!

Once our bellies were full, we bolted to Harvard’s campus to catch a student led tour!

“You go here?”
“What, like it’s hard?”

Yeah that was said many, many times amongst us. Our tour guide hasn’t ever seen Legally Blonde so he didn’t understand when Alison went off on her well rehearsed monologue…

“Hi, I’m Elle Woods. This is Bruiser Woods. We’re both Gemini Vegetarians. And last week I saw Cameron Diaz at Fred Segal, and I talked her out of buying this truly heinous angora sweater. Whoever said orange was the new pink was seriously disturbed.”

Our tour guide was a sophomore, so he was 19-ish which means that he was only 7 when that movie came out. I guess he doesn’t have older sister. I feel old now. Moving on to the gorgeous pictures of Harvard!

This is the freshman dorm that has offices on the first floor. The president of the university’s office is here and it is said that she hand picks the students that live in this dorm. They’re supposedly the quietest, most light footed of them all. I would have never been invited. I don’t know what quiet is…

Students avoid walking underneath the middle arch because you should only walk under it twice: once upon arriving on campus your first day as a freshman and once upon receiving your diploma as you leave the university! It’s funny to watch students veer off just to go through the side arches!

Harvard Square!
This freshman dining hall was modeled after the Great Hall in Harry Potter! AWESOME!

This Harvard crest is slightly different from the usual one we see. Instead of having all three books open, the bottom one is upside down. Students believe that this is the founders way of saying that every once and a while you need to put the books down and live life. AGREED!

Unfortunately, after our Harvard tour we only had time to grab a Boston Strong shirt from the mall near our hotel before it was time to go to the airport. It was an absolutely amazing trip. We were blessed with the best weather and considering the fact that we didn’t really have set plans, everything really fell into place! We did everything we wanted to, ate tons of food and had the best girls weekend. Can’t wait for our next one ladies!
