Friday Five: Get Excited!

In case you forgot or you didn’t already read it on another blog or Facebook or Twitter, it’s Friday. Thank goodness. I’m excited it’s Friday for several reason. One being that means no work tomorrow. In fact I’m just excited about quite a few things, so my Friday Five are going to revolve around everything I’m looking forward to!

1. Disney World / Harry Potter World / Disney Princess Half Marathon take 3
Yes, all of the above in one fun filled extended weekend is happening in less than 2 weeks. In 13 days, I’ll be boarding a plane with Alison and Julie to Orlando where we will find Andrea and Charlie waiting for us. I’m going to pee my pants I’m so excited. I can’t stop talking about it. #sorryimnotsorry

2. Double Date Night Tonight
The hubs and I are going on a double date with Chandra and Michael! I’m pretty pumped. We have reservations at The Tasting Room this evening and we all know this girl loves her some wine. And food. But before we head over the, the hubs and I plan of heading to our Spec’s super liquor store for free sample Friday. It’s not really called that but I just made it up and it’s sounded pretty fantastic. I should do marketing for them. I love walking around trying new wines and liquors. I always leave there happy 🙂

3. Vacation Planning
The hubs and I are in the midst of planning our super vacation for this year. I’m so freaking excited. This trip taking us to places that neither of us has ever been before. I love adventure, travel and seeing new things.  This trip will be FULL of that. It will also be full of wine. As stated in #2 above. I love wine. Only 108 days to go! Here’s a sneak peak at what our trip with involve.

Anyone know where this is?

4. Spending time with the fam
We’re heading to Sugar Land tomorrow morning to watch my youngest brother play basketball. I’m planning on bringing my Nikon so I can get some pretty awesome action shots of him! He’s a freshman in high school and is 6’2″. Yeah, he’s huge and he’s really good at basketball. I can’t wait to watch him play! Then we plan on just spending the day hanging out and relaxing at my parents, one of my favorite thing to do.

5. Running a half marathon solo this Sunday
Yes, you read that right. I’m running a half marathon on Sunday: the Rhythm and Blues half. I got an e-mail about it on Monday and said why not! I was planning on doing 11ish miles on Sunday, so let’s just make it 13.1 and get a new shirt, some new bling to add to my collection and food at the finish line. Sounds like a blast to me! Yes, I realize I’m crazy, but that’s just me. I’m not running it for time, just to have fun, listen to the bands and run. I love to run. Plus it’s right by my house and it’s a 3 loop course. The hubs is going to come out and watch me and take some pictures. Dad wanna come too?

So there you have it. As always, my plate is full and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I have so much to look forward to and be excited about. Life’s boring with nothing to anticipate!

What are you getting excited about?
Anything extra special coming up?

Until next time…
With love and God bless,
