Are you ready for some FOOTBALL?

Monday, Monday, Monday. Not quite so bad now that Monday night football is back 🙂 Still, not exactly my favorite day of the week! Oh well, this past weekend pretty much revolved around football for this girl!

On Friday, the hubs and I loaded up the truck, grabbed the pup and headed to College Station for the weekend! WH09P!

Friday night started with dinner at one of my favorite places to eat in College Station – La Bodega! Yummm, it’s amazing. They are known for their baja style tacos and their shakers!

Then we met up with some friends and stayed out at Northgate for a few hours before calling it an early night. We were in bed by 11pm! I mean, we had a big day on Saturday!!! Before going to bed, we had to get in a little bit of playtime with the pups!

Paz and Maggie – Best Friends Forever!!!

We were up an at ’em quite early. First stop, Starbucks for my first pumpkin spice latte of the season! It was delicious and the perfect way to start the day. Next up, Spence Park to finish setting up our tailgate. We got there around 7:30am and were ready to go just after 8am, but only about half of our crew was out there that early. We decided to check out College Game Day!

The rest of the day we tailgated, went to the game and then headed out to Northgate!

I got to see my girl, Lia Joy!!!

It was definitely a great day! Unfortunately, the Ags offense looked like crap in the second half and Florida ended up scoring 10 points to win 20-17. All in all, not a terrible start to our first season in the SEC. We definitely need to figure out how to make a few changes in order to continue keeping up!

Sunday morning we were up bright and early despite getting in pretty late 🙂 Momma and Daddy Gougler {Jody and Phil} were amazing and made us breakfast! We had oatmeal pancakes, eggs and bacon – aka – I had pancakes…amazing pancakes! The hubs and I decided to head back to Houston a little after 11:00am. Once we got home, I napped during the second half of the Texans game and was up and ready for the Packers afternoon game! The hubs and I actually decided to head to Buffalo Wild Wings for a late lunch/early dinner. Unfortunately again, the Packers looked less than stellar and ended up disappointing me severely.

So great weekend in general – bad weekend for my football team. Luckily, life goes on 🙂 What did y’all do this weekend? Any plans around football? Did your teams do better than mine?

Until next time…
With love and God bless,
