Making Mondays Motivational: Take 1

Why hello! Is it really Monday already? I’m pretty sure I blinked and this weekend was over. Don’t get me wrong…I had a blast, but seriously, Monday? Now? If only every weekend was a 3 day weekend. Life would just be grand. Oh well, back to the drawing board, time to make some money! At least I get paid this week. Always a plus. Now, do y’all remember at the beginning of the year I said I wanted to include more fitness in my blog? Well, I’ve been slacking and fitness is my true passion, so I’m finding a way to dedicate one post a week to talk about my workouts, give workout ideas and motivate everyone out there who may be struggling to get into a fitness routine, trying to lose weight, or just want some ideas to spice up you plan!

Last weeks workouts:
Sunday, March 4th
– 45 minute walk with the husband and pup
– 3.75 mile run (8:40 pace)

Monday: 2.25 mile run (8:28 pace)
Tuesday: OFF
Wednesday: Camp Gladiator Boot Camp (1 hour)
Thursday: OFF
Friday: Camp Gladiator Boot Camp (50 minutes)
Saturday: OFF

I’m not going to lie, last week was pretty light for me. I only ran 6 miles and I took 3 days off. I usually limit myself to 1 to 2 off days per week, but honestly, last week was an off week! I was crazy busy with work and preparations for my best friends bachelorette party. You know what? IT’S OKAY! It’s okay to have off weeks and it’s okay to have cheat days. There is nothing wrong with listening to your body and rewarding yourself. As long as you don’t skip your workout every time you’re sore and you don’t cheat on your diet/healthy eating lifestyle more than every once in a while, then you’re okay.

“Be brave and be patient. Have faith in yourself; trust in the significance of your life and the purpose of your passion. You are strong enough to sit in the space between spaces and allow divine inspiration to shed some light. When you put positive energy and productive effort into the world it will come back to you. Occasionally in ways you might not immediately understand and on a time frame you didn’t expect. Look. Listen. Learn. Stay open. Your destiny is awaiting you.”

Remember that being healthy is a lifestyle which means you must LIVE it 🙂

Next Monday I’ll be posting an awesome full body workout using suicides…and no, you won’t just be running suicides 🙂 Get excited. Who knows, if I have time later in the week, I may even do it then. Don’t worry, exercises will include visuals so you’ll know what you should look like when you’re performing the exercise!

Happy Monday! Until next time…
With love and God bless,

Sharing is caring!
