Miss Maggie’s Wish List

As you know {or at least you do now}, Maggie’s first birthday is tomorrow and she has quite the extensive wish list for her birthday this year. She’s been talking about it for weeks really and I thought I would share with everyone what is on Miss Maggie’s mind.

The ears are “ear”resistable! {Yes, I know I’m cool.}

Maggie’s Birthday Wish List

  1. A big new fluffy bed for me to lay on in the living room
  2. More toys because I clearly don’t have enough. There are only 4 currently on the kitchen floor, 2 in my bed room and 1 in the living room. Mom has some hidden in a drawer too, but I can’t figure out how to open it yet.
  3. A big backyard to run and play in. It’s getting harder to sprint laps in the living room. Squeezing between the couch and the side table is not as easy now that I’m a big girl.
  4. TREATS!!! Lots and lots and lots of treats to eat because eating is my favorite.
  5. To go on a trip to Texas. I want to see my grandparents and aunts and uncles again! I also need to meet some of my future best friends Buck, Lucy, Dixie, Paz, Rose, Dexter, Romeo and many more.
  6. Lots of leaves and sticks to eat and chew on!

After hearing about the items on Maggie’s wish list, I decided to talk to her about moving to Texas. she is super excited about that! I asked what we would have in our ideal home and here are some of her thoughts.

Maggie’s New Home Wish List

  1. A HUGE backyard. Yes, now that it is possible to have a yard, I want a huge one not just a big one.
  2. An easy way for me to get outside whenever I want to without having to ask or wait for Mom and Dad {Mom says good luck with that one}
  3. Big open spaces to run and play in the house like I have right now.
  4. A whole room just for me so that I don’t have to sleep in my kennel. {Good luck with that one Mag}
  5. A place where all my toys can be so that Mom won’t hide them from me anymore. In fact, a hiding spot for my toys would be perfect!

Always trying to get her belly scratched!

I’m think my dog is a bit spoiled, we’re working on that one 🙂 I’m missing my sweet baby girl while I’m in Houston, but we’re planning on an exciting celebration this weekend when I’m back in Pittsburgh. A puppy friendly cupcake {and human cupcakes for the rest of us} sounds like a good idea to me. There is a Peanut Butter Delight dog cake recipe I found that I think will be a hit. Maggie loves her peanut butter just like her momma. I’ll be sure to take pictures and document the recipe for y’all to try to make for your fur babies!

I hope that everyone is having a great Tuesday!
Until next time…
With love and God bless,

Sharing is caring!
